Buying an abaya online is easy once you know two things: your size, and the length that suits your height. Here is how to check both.
Your size
Our sizes follow UK sizing: XS is UK 6 to 8, S is UK 8 to 10, M is UK 10 to 12, L is UK 12 to 14, XL is UK 14 to 16 and XXL is UK 16 to 18. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more relaxed fit.
All of our kaftans and most of our abayas come in one size. Some abayas, such as the Yıldız Abaya, come in sizes, so check the size options on each piece. Size matters most for our dresses, tunics and co-ord sets.
Your length
Abaya length is usually given in inches, measured from the shoulder to the hem. As a guide:
- 157 to 162 cm tall: 52 inches
- 163 to 168 cm tall: 54 inches
- 169 to 174 cm tall: 56 inches
- 175 to 180 cm tall: 58 inches
- 181 cm and taller: 60 inches
